TENIFER® : A surface treatment still relevant

Frequently used for mold tools, this surface treatment carried out in a salt bath increases the surface hardness to prevent seizing and facilitate sliding. Unlike coatings by vacuum process, this salt bath nitriding process makes it possible to treat the inside of the parts. Thus our sleev ejectors or other hollow parts benefit from a hardness of 1000 to 1200 Hv 0.5 inside and outside.
Totally integrated into the SES making process, the optimization of all parameters (steel, heat treatment and Tenifer®) allow us to get the best performances from our molds tools.
